Thanks to Dawn, Tessa, and Mireyah, I’m going to try this blog hopping thing. I definitely like to think most of my writing falls into the fantasy category, and that just happened to be the first featured category. WOOT!
As I said yesterday, I’m doing that which has already been done, but not. Angels and urban fantasy. But my first novel, the one I’m about to query, is a little different. It’s about two girls raised in a religious cult. One of them is believed to be the reincarnation of God, and the other is her personal assistant (see servant). They’re out on a nice little ‘family’ stroll one day when the rest of their group is gunned down by assassins not too keen on religous groups trying to replace God with a little girl. The question throughout – is she really what she thinks she is?
And yeah, besides gun fights, drama, and teenagers falling in love, there’s magic underlying the story 😀
