It seems as though, for someone who claims to be a writer, that I should be able to say that more often. Aside from November, though, I’ve had a bit of a dry spell. But I wrote a short story today. Well, started it like two days ago, but finished the first draft today ^_^ And now I need feedback.
Okay, I don’t actually need feedback. As in, I won’t shrivel up and die without it. It’s not a basic human necessity. But I really, really want it. I crave constructive input.
Hmm…just deleted what I wrote here. So…short story writing=counter-productive?
Nah…it just wasn’t something I should be going on about.
I really don’t have much else to say. Christmas is just over a week away, and I’m having happy dreams about going shopping on Saturday and finishing up gift-buying. So…I just have to make it through two more days of work ^_^
Yeah… I should probably be able to say that more often. I can say I’ve written blog posts but I haven’t done much fiction writing for the last month and it’s a little sad. There is always today to pick it up and get writing.
I haven’t even finished shopping and I haven’t mailed stuff so it’s going to be late. Hard to believe Christmas will be here and then the new year very soon.
I’ll be around to read it this evening…..
How weird. I wrote a short story last night too. I was trying to have a few days off from writing after finishing a huge revision on my novel, but no, this story had to be written….
