Seriously. Lots of you are tweeting my links and no one is actually entering The Contest. I shouldn’t say no one. Three people so far. And if none of you comes along and tries to trump them, they’re all going to win books – free books – because they’re awesome and it wouldn’t be fair to only pick two out of three. Of course, now they’re hoping you won’t win, but why hurt your own chances? Your chances right now of winning if you enter? 50%. Your chances if you don’t? 0%. I didn’t even use my vast experience as a statician to figure that out.
Okay. Done with that. I just like giving presents, so I can’t believe no one wants me to give them presents. But today was last payday before Christmas, and tomorrow is shopping day. WOOT! I have the list in my head already of what I’m getting, but it might shift depending on what I find.
I think it’s possible I might be getting books for Christmas (ya like all those weak words?). And maybe a journal. I shall see. I know I get a day off. And that’s an awesome Christmas present. And I revised my short story this morning, it’s all piecing together nicely now. I’ve had some good luck with that recently, with the few short pieces I’ve written. I piece them together, I get some feedback and can see what’s missing and then fix them up. I like the trend. I’d like it to continue.
I think I’m rambling. I should stop now. One week until Christmas even, and then Odin comes and leaves us presents and paddles those of use who were good bad.
^_^
I know how you feel. So far, out of three contests I’ve held, all of them had very few entries (and that’s with 100+ followers for one of them). I’m hoping at 200 followers I’ll get more but it’s hard to tell.
Hope the giveaway goes well, even if that means more competition for the prizes. hehehe
