AKA – The Machines Are Rebelling

It’s Friday, and it desperately needs to be. The day started off wonderfully, with a slow wake-up, a brilliant compliment from a co-worker, my coffee order being right…and then the machines rebelled. I’m looking for my Neo, or even better, John Conner – but from the newest Terminator movie, because it wasn’t any more logical or less plot-hole filled than any of the others, but the actors were prettier.

Anyway, my post has nothing to do with that, and this computer still works (for now *mwa-ha-ha*) so I’m going to babble away.

First of all, it was pointed out to me the other day that I need to let y’all know…
My edits are finished for Conflict of Interest!!! The book is out in about a month (it seems so close, but at the same time like I still have to wait forever.

In the next few weeks, I’ll have a cover to reveal. A few awesome people have already offered to help me show it off, but if you’d like to be a part of the cover reveal (which will fall in April during the A-Z challenge, so I understand a lot of you are already else-wise committed), leave a comment below (include your email πŸ™‚ or just email me directly – allyson.lindt(at)gmail (dot) com

Speaking of the A-Z Blogging Challenge, yesterday I revealed my theme. I’m looking forward to the entire month of April and exploring this topic of romance in a technological world (yanno – cubicle dwellers need love too), and to reading about all the other awesome thoughts people have about other awesome things.

And during the month, I’ll also be doing random giveaways associated with my A-Z theme and my upcoming book. Yup, free stuff! Books, gift cards, fun stuff like that.

Then there’s May (yes, I have my entire blog scheduled out two months in advance from today, which is an absolutely new record and will probably never ever happen again).

In May I’m hosting 20 amazing and wonderful authors, a new one almost every day. They’re going to be talking about their characters, their processes, their books, their inspiration, themselves, and some of them are even bringing snacks.

It’s also a month long release party, so there will be more giveaways, including one big one at the very end – I’ll have a Nook to giveaway, as well as gift cards, swag, and more books.

So if you have time in your hectic schedules over the next two months, stop by and pay a visit when you can. You’ll love meeting my guests, I’m hoping to persuade you to give my book a try, and did I mention, free stuff (I’m not above bribery in the right circumstances)?
